Nokia Lumia 920: The Best Addition by Nokia

If you are out to buy a mobile and willing to throw about 25000 then I would suggest you to go for Nokia’s new addition Lumia 920. Not that the phone is awesome in looks but have some very good features also. Loaded with Carl Zeiss lens with pure vies technology, the 8.7 Megapixel camera gives the best experience while taking pictures. The 4.2” PureMotion HD+ display gives the best looks to the phone. The phone comes in vibrant colours which gives an ultimate look in your hands. The body is single pieced made of polycarbonate.

DESIGN
The phone has a sleek dimension of 70.8x130.3 mm with just 10.7 mm thickness. The phone weighs just 185 gm. The body is made of single piece polycarbonate and comes in variant colours. The display resolution of the phone is 768p.

SCREEN
The quality of the screen is superb. With the resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, it has among the highest pixel smartphones in the market. Thus everything looks really sharp and smooth. And, the viewing angles are excellent too. In fact, it wouldn’t be wrong to say this screen is right up there with the iPhone 5 and HTC 8X for best smartphone screen at the moment.

WIRELESS CHARGING

One of the coolest features of the Nokia Lumia 920 is its wireless charging. If you are ready to throw some more cash for the Wireless Charging Plate or the Wireless Charging Pillow, you can charge the phone by simply placing it on these accessories. But, charging through these accessories takes a little longer time than it would take using a normal cable but it should still charge overnight without problem, plus it's just so darn convenient not to have to fumble around for a cable or mess with getting the plug the right way round.

INTERFACE
The Smartphone runs on new Microsoft Windows Phone 8 operating system (OS) which unlike Google's Android OS cannot be fiddled with by the phone manufacturers. Thus, the  experience we get here is essentially exactly the same as that on any other Windows Phone 8 handset.
Windows Phone 8 offers a smooth, stylised interface that's centred around a couple of key ideas. One of them is the Live Tile. This feature on the homescreen provides  a cross between an icon and a widget. Like an icon they simply provide a link to whatever application they represent but then like a widget they also show live information from that app on the icon itself.

NOKIA APPS
Nokia has loaded this smartphone with some cool apps such as Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive, Nokia City Lens and Nokia Music.
Talking about the Nokia Map, this fully fledged mapping app provides map and satellite views as well as public transport and traffic views information. The satellite view is highly detailed and accurate. And, the biggest boon of Nokia Maps is that we can download the maps for use when we are away from a data connection. But the maps are inevitably quite large.
Another great Nokia addition is the Nokia Drive which uses the same maps as Nokia Maps but grants them in a drive-friendly manner, providing big, easy-to-press buttons, readouts of estimated speed and distance to destination, and, quick access to destination input.
Nokia Lumia 920 also has City Lens. It  is an exciting addition which uses the device camera. As we pan round looking through the phone’s camera it shows nearby points of interest on the screen.

CAMERA
Nokia has added this device with a  PureView branded optically stabilised camera. The  8.7megapixels, PureView camera technology with Optical Image Stabilisation and a Carl Zeiss optics means the pictures and videos are detailed, bright and less blurry, even at night. No other smartphone camera even comes close.
