Smartphones Up To Rs.10000



If you want to buy a smartphone but have just Rs.10,000 in your pocket and don’t have any clue how to get one, then, my friend, you need not to be dejected because the leading companies have now jumped into the ring to make you available with good smartphones in that range. Earlier, companies like Samsung, Motorola, Nokia and Sony Ericsson had only feature phones up to this range. The smartphones were never available below Rs.20,000. Also, the biggie Blackberry never had any phone below 25,000 bucks. But now, we can get smartphone even at the lowest of Rs.3,500 only.
Here are some listings of the smartphones that are available to the customers for just 10,000 bucks or less.


1.      APPLE’S iPHONE(3GS)

Apple known for its high end phones which made the cut in Indian market not before the year 2008 with minimum tag of its lowest genre of phone of not less than Rs.35000.But its one variant named iPhone 3GS made some of its admirer feel glee as it come under the price tag of Rs 20000. But further with the collaboration of Aircel with Apple the price of iPhone 3GS slides down to mere Rs 9999,a tag affordable to many brand lovers.
The smartphone is almost four years old, but, the features of this phone have left behind many Android phones. The Apple’s 3GS offers full support and is upgradable to the latest operating system, i.e. iOS 6. The phone has a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen. The phone is loaded with 600MHz processor and 256MB RAM. The storage limit of this phone is 8GB internal with no external slot. The phone contains 3.15MP camera and supports 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth



BLACKBERRY SMARTPHONES

2.      a. BLACKBERRY 9220
For many years, Blackberry was away from the reach of common people as no Blackberry phones were available below RS.25,000. The Blackberry 9220 is the flagship of the firm which is made available to the customers for just RS.10,000. The smartphone runs on BB OS 7 having 2.44 inch display. The phone contain QWERTY keypad making the user easier to type while chatting. The phone comes with 512MB RAM for fast processing and also contain 512 MB internal memory. b. BLACKBERRY 8520

Blackberry Curve 8520 was launched in 2009. Like other Blackberry flagships, it can send secure emails and also has the Blackberry Messenger which is a big hit among its users. Also, there are much more apps waiting to be downloaded from BlackBerry App World now. The smartphone comes at the reasonable price of Rs.8,500. The smartphone has 2.46 inch display and operates with BB OS 5. It is loaded with 512 MHz processor and 256 MB internal memory. The device memory can be expanded up to 32 GB. It has 2 MP camera same as the Blackberry 9220.

Micromax Andro A60

In the past couple of years, Micromax have grabbed an increasing chunk of the Indian market with its robust, value for money mobiles. The Micromax Andro A60 is another step toward its two strategies.

Always known for its money value notebooks, Dell have now made entry in smartphone market.XCD28 is the firms lowest price smartphone and have a solid build-up and decent functionality. The smartphone runs on Android 2.1 and has a 2.8 inch resistive touchscreen. The smartphone has a 3.2 MP snapper.
The smartphone comes with 200 MB storage, 256 MB RAM and 256 MB ROM.
The flagship is available in India for Rs.8,000.

NOKIA SMARTPHONES

Nokia’s Symbian Series also comes in the smartphone category as the S60 series provides services like push email, web browsing and multi-tasking.
Symbian, being a lowest power consuming platform is much more battery efficient than other operating system. However, the power of iPhone and Android have made it  a bit unpopular among the people. Also, the touch market was still untouched by the company making its market share to tumble rapidly. But, it does not mean that Symbian is a bad option. It is a bit outdated in front of other operating systems but still handles multiple application even with less resource.
The Nokia’s smartphone comes in two versions- touch phones and non-touch phones.
The non-touch smartphones run on Symbain Series 60, 3rd edition while touch smartphones run on Symbian Series 60, 5th edition and above.

OVI stores provides applications that can be purchased easily and the cost is added to the monthly bills for postpaid customers. The prepaid customers can buy apps with the help of credit card without giing credit card details.
