Zync Cloud Z5 Dual Core phablet: A Box of Surprise !!!!


Just a few years back, the cell phones were a lot costlier than now it is. One has to spend 10000 bucks for just a small screen coloured handset. But talking about now, if you have that much amount in your pocket, you have a wide range of cell phones to choose from. Not only cell phones, but the new range of phablets is also available for you. For the guys who don’t know what a phablet is, is  a large size phones with the properties of tablets.

Here, we are discussing about the Zinc Cloud Z5 phablet. People who are looking for some grande in 10000 bucks, they may go for this phablet. It is a 5-inch screen smartphone with Dual Core processor, and will lighter your pocket by just Rs. 8,990.


Hardware & Design

The Phablet comes with a 5-inch TFT screen, with resolution of 800x480p. The screens pixel density is 187ppi. It runs on a 1 GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM. It has 4GB internal storage and supports upto 32 GB microSD card. Like all other phablets, it also has the connectivity suite by 2G,  3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and microUSB 2.0 port. This dual-sim smartphone comes with a 2,500mAh battery.

Talking about the looks, it resembles the Samsung Galaxy Note to an extent. The design of the phone enables better handle, but the appearance is not that exclamatory.


Software Specification

The Zync Cloud Z5 Dual Core runs on Android 4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich), a bit behind the present run, i.e. Android 4.1(Jelly Bean). Some pre-loaded apps are Facebook, Twitter, Bollywood Hungama, Office suite(to know about Office Suite, click here), Big Flix etc. Since there is no customization, there is no slowdown of your phone, and, if you want you can download your favorite app form the Android Market.
Performance

A decent phone, offering acceptable sunlight legibility and is pretty responsive to touch. But, when it comes on viewing angles and reflectivity, we can say it lacks something.

The phone is quite easy to hold in one hand and never seems too big, having easy to access keys on both sides. The phone runs much smoothly even there are large number of apps installed and all apps also runs smoothly without any lag.

It contains an 8 MP camera at the back with LED flash, doing a decent job but nothing new than basic android. The photo quality is good but under low light it shows some noise.
