There have been increase in number of people having more than 5 online account. They have accounts for Office, Bank Shopping sites alongwith the social profiles on networking sites such as Facebook. And if you believe in keeping same password for all the accounts then you may become the victim of Cyber Crime easily. So, i have come up with following ways to keep your online availability safe.

1. Never click on unknown links: Always remember this rule. Cyber criminals always try attract you with some cool looking links and attachments. And social media is helping in making target of a specific person. The cyber criminals come to know about your likes and dislikes and send you the according links which compel you to click on them. So, keep distance from these type of invitation from unknown people. It is like a person whom you see everyday on bus-stop reaces your home.

2. Keep changing your main email password: if the hacker have hacked the password of your main email then ha can easily reach to your other virtual locations. He can reach easily to the sites visited by you easily through your hacked email. So, keep a complex password, different for each site and keep changing it with time. 3. Install a good Anti-Virus Software: It has been observed that with the help of a good Anti-Virus about 25% of fake links can be identified. A good Anti-Virus may not give you that security but it may help you to some extent at least.
   
   
   
   
4. Never give information about your card: If there is any message like -'if you want to use your credit card information in future?'. Just open your mind be conscious that there have been many fraud regarding credit cards. So always say no to these type of offers, as, it takes not more than 90 seconds to give online your credit card information every time.
   
   
   
   
5. Do online shopping with care: Before giving info about your credit card while shopping online, check if your browser have the locked padlock or verified symbol.
   
   
   
   
6. Lock down your Facebook Account: Facebook updates its Timeline and privacy setting time to time. So you need check it out regularly. Specially if Facebook have changed its design, then go to privacy setting menu and set the “who can see my stuff” to “friends”. Also, go to privacy setting and in old post set it to friends only.
   
   
   
   
7. Keep more than one email account:  Always keep more than one email account. Like one email for bank and financial account. And, another account for office, college and general use. So, in this case there would be low loss in hacking.
   
   
   
   
8. Never be confident that bank will compensate for your loss: If the customer faces any fraud then the bank compensates for that, but, if they find out that it is due to some irresponsibility or some greed, then no compensation is given.
   
   
   
   
9. Make your verification system strong: if you have this facility in your e-mail or the cloud service then always try to use this. Gmail, Apple and DropBox provides you with this facility. And, you just need to give a little effort to set this. After filling your password a verification code will come to your phone in message box, which you need to fill online before accessing your account. 10. Always ignore Pop-ups: There is a high chance that the pop-ups contain any Malware Software. If there is any, then if you click on the Pop-ups then the Malware gets downloaded without letting you know and gets executed. This is known as Drive By download.
    
    
    
    
11. Keep your Phone and Laptops locked: While not in use, keep your Phones and Laptops locked. It is the same way of safety as you lock your house when you are not there.
